I feel like this is the biggest crux when it comes to looking to live in Japan. I currently work as a Senior Network Administrator in the US, I’ve been attempting to find employment in Japan for the better part of the last 4 years.
I’ve applied basically nonstop, primarily to USAJOBS Civilian positions, contractor jobs on US military bases when they show up, and more recently broadened my scope to include international and Japanese companies.
In the last 4 years I’ve only managed to get a single interview. If there are other IT folks in this sub in a similar career field, how were you able to find employment in Japan? Do you have any advice?
