Hiking recommendations in January

Hi! I'm planning to visit Japan in mid January and I will have 1 free day to spare in Osaka.

I'm looking for recommendations on places to hike that provides nice views, but of easier difficulty and somewhere that is safe to hike in the winter.

I was initially thinking visiting Hoshi No Buranko, but not sure if it's worth a visit during the winter?

I have also done Minoh Falls previously as well, so not looking to do the same this time.
