(Shimane Pref.) Good Distant Spots to catch Suigosai?

Hi all, Shimane Prefecture resident here.

I’ve planned a date for 8/3, completely forgetting that that was the first day of Suigosai in Matsue.

Last year me and my partner went to Suigosai proper and caught turbo COVID so we both decided we are ok with not going this year…but, while this date day is already packed, in a last minute twist, I thought about surprising her with the fireworks (from the comfort of an air conditioned car)

Any good recs for some good spots to park and watch, far away from the big crowds?
