Tax deduction for primary residence

Apologies if this has been asked already, but I cannot find a clear answer to the following question:

What annual taxes and deducibles are there for a situation where me and my husband would purchase a primary residence in Japan / Tokyo? We have been in the country for 2.5 years and are expecting to get PR in a couple of months. We have one kid below the age of 1. Both of our incomes are high. We own property outside of Japan.
