It was a miserable 10 days at home (3 days of 40 degree fever even after taking Caronal, terrible sore throat and cough for about 2 weeks, husband catching COVID after me, taking care of a 2 year old…) but my medical insurance payout is surprisingly high!! Life insurance companies are planning to limit COVID payouts starting late September so if you are insured, make you sure get your payments while you can. (My husband and I were both not hospitalized since we recovered from home, but if you have the certification to prove you recovered from COVID, you are covered!)
