Unfortunately I’m dependent on the bus and monorail since I don’t have a drivers license. I’m traveling for two weeks though, so I have time to kill on long bus rides. Living at Kokusai street.
However, it’s been 3 days now and I’m not feeling it at all yet. American village looked like an amusement park with an americana theme. I went to Tropical beach too in Ginowan which was pretty but also felt so… meh? It wasn’t this wast beautiful ocean, it was a small swimming area with jellyfish nets surrounding it and super shallow water so that I couldn’t swim.
I’m heading to the aquarium tomorrow so I know that will impress me most likely. But do you guys have any recommendations on beaches and other stuff that “blew your mind away”? Since that’s how people speak about Okinawa, I really want to experience the hype!
