Been living and studying in Japan for more than a year now and now thinking of moving into ALT work for a year or 2 while studying on the side since while I've enjoyed my Japanese program, I don't really want to pay for another semester and feel I have a solid enough basis where self study might be more helpful at this point to work towards passing the N1 (or N2 if I have to retake it). Looking at the various ALT jobs posted on Gaijinpot, I have gotten reviews for Interac and Altia but I was wondering if anyone had any experience with a company based solely in Nagano called A to Z. Older posts on reddit have been a mixed bag, some people said good things and some said bad but all those were a few years older so wondering if anyone has any recent experiences with them.
I already am aware of all the issues with the ALT companies so I'm not viewing this as a long term thing but I would prefer to continue living here as I love the Japanese language and am working towards N1 fluency. Please let me know if you have had any recent experience with this company.
