So I'm a foreigner who lives in japan for good now, and I got my japanese rakuten credit card. I have this trip overseas in my homecountry and I want to use my credit card there. Do I need to call rakuten to let them know that I'll be using my credit card overseas? Because I tried using it online to purchase something from my homecountry and it got declined so I'm worrying that I won't be able to use the credit card there at all. Do i need to call them for it to work on my home country or rakuten credit card simply does not work overseas?
