Regarding the acceptable IDP format in Japan.

Will they accept non-booklet type IDP in Japan?

I am an Indian and my license agent is saying that in whole of my state(Uttar Pradesh) this non-booklet/Page type format only is followed for the IDP.

Should I apply for this IDP? I don't think they accept this in Japan and have checked the same for Toyota rentals as well.

Please suggest what I can do😭. Is there any way out?
