I have had recruiters contact me on LinkedIn and offer to help me find a job in Japan. One of them even offered to write my resume and give me free mock interviews.
I feel a little uneasy because it seems too good to be true. One recruiter explained that by law they can't take money from applicants. This seems to be true to some extent.
Has anyone else experienced this? Do Japanese IT companies hire more foreigners? Or is it just a coincidence that more Japanese have contacted me in the last few months than in the previous 5 years combined?
If this isn't the right place for this kind of post, I'd be grateful if you could point me to where I should ask this question.
