Hi, I'm moving to Japan next month and I'm on my quest to find a share house. After a good search and filter I had like 15 options to choose, but in some of the share houses there are some requirements that I dont meet. I want to know if in your experience, those requirements are strict or more flexible.
For example, some ask for everyday conversational level Japanese, reading and writing Japanese, national emergency contact information, and joint guarantor.
Or one that requests a Japanese bank account and telephone number, wich I plan to get when I arrive at the country. As well I dont have any contact in Japan to give them the contact information they request.
Also, every house I checked said "入居期間長期 (Long-term lease period)" and I want to stay one month or two and then move to another place. Only saw one house that said 4-6 months in this section, so I'm not really sure about the rent periods. Another house I checked had a more detailed information when I checked the room details, and said 6 month contract, but other houses don´t have this information.
I want to know if those requirements are strict before I send a message to the share house, I wouldn't want to send it if I don't have options to rent the room. Or maybe I should try anyway? Thank you!
