Hi, im 20y old from Brazil and since may i have plans about moving to japan,i've been studying japanese since too.
Im in the 1st semester (should be 2nd but i got 3 months of teachers strike) of a engineer college, this is the 3rd different graduation that i try since 2022, every other one i quit after the 2nd semester, i want to go as a exchange student in a language school to learn japanese for 2 yrs, after that i planned to go to a "technical" school if i got enough money or try the tokutei visa and then make my career there.
My first reason to go is to have new experiences, i lost my 16 and 17 years because of covid and i have living in the automatic since i got out of school with 17 , the other reason are safety, some aspects of culture, not the work, lol, and how i got tired of how life is where i live (i know i will miss after 1 year away).
I plan to go by april 2026 or july, i came from a medium class family and i have ways to get the enough money by the time of the trip, if i dont like of how the things happen there i will be 24 and with japanese experience e hopefully N2, i have where to "fall" in brazil, so i think the "only" thing i will be speding after those 2 years will be money.
So, after all that, do you think is worth it to drop college now and start working to by 2026 be going to japan?
Sorry if i make mistakes in the writing.
