So, my IUD is expiring in May, but I am moving to Kadena by the end of this year. I am in between getting it replaced here in the US (mostly due to the horror stories I've heard regarding military medical care).
My question is: Does anyone have experience having an IUD placed or replaced while on base at Kadena or the surrounding area of Okinawa? How was it? Would you recommend I have it done prior to moving or does it matter?
