I will be moving to Japan kk ater this year and I have some questions about the new NISA that I haven't been able to find the answer to anywhere.
I would like to set up a NISA account soon after moving, is there any difficultly with doing this, for example with SBI, right away after coming to Japan? (I know some banks can be difficult if you just arrived).
The other question is, are the yearly NISA limits based on calendar year? So if I manage to set up a NISA account towards the end of this year, will I still be able to use the full amount for 2024, and start over again in 2025?
