Hi everyone! Me and my friend are planning on going to Japan for the first time this late August. I was wondering what are your thoughts, and if you have any special tips or recommendation, on our following itinerary. Thank you for your help:)
Day 1 – Tuesday:
- Arrive in Airport, go to hotel and settle in.
Day 2 – Wednesday:
- Explore Asakusa (including Sensō-ji)
- Go to Shibuya
- Explore Meiji Shrine
- Shibuya Sky
- Dinner, arcade and night explorations
Day 3 – Thursday:
- Imperial Palace Tour
- Go to Akihabara
- Explore Akihabara (lunch at Square Enix cafe)
- Dinner in Minato
- Teamlabs Borderless
Day 4 – Friday:
- Teamlabs Planets
- Tokyo Joypolis
- Possible Ginza Exploration/Dinner
Day 5 – Saturday:
- Tokyo Metropolitan Building
- The Making of Harry Potter
- Go to Shinjuku
- Tokyo Matrix
- Evening exploration of Shinjuku
Day 6 – Sunday:
- Ueno Exploration (including Zoo, Tokyo National Museum and Yamashiroya Toy Store)
- Tokyo Skytree
- Kirby Cafe (if we can get the reservation)
Day 7 – Monday:
- Ghibli Museum
- Pokemon Cafe
- Weeknight Disneysea
Day 8 – Tuesday:
- Shopping day (Shibuya, Akihabara and any other store we really want to go to)
Day 9 – Wednesday
- Pack up and go to airport
