3 days Kyoto trip in December

Hi! I am planning my family's trip to Kyoto in December during the winter season (shorter daylight :")), but I think I have too many places I wanna go to so I am afraid that my itinerary is too packed… Besides Kyoto we will be visiting Tokyo and Osaka as well so I don't want us to be too tired. Would really appreciate it if you give me some tips about my current itinerary!

Here is some things I have to consider when planning – we will be staying in Tokyo and Osaka only (since I heard prices in Osaka are cheaper and because we can reduce the number of times we need to shift our luggage), so we will be making trips out of Osaka to Kyoto in the 3 days. This probably means that our day in Kyoto won't be starting at like 6am that is def too intense… Also, my family isn't the most active people out there so going on long hikes without sufficient rest will probably be too much for us.

Am also open to food and matcha recommendations! Thanks 😀
