Is it Possible to Work A Semi-Full Time Job and Get My Visa Renewed?

Hi there, firstly, thank you for reading my post!

Here's my situation: I just got laid off from my current English teaching job of two years due to budgetary reasons. I've been living and teaching English in Japan for two years by my previous job was with a Japanese school in the states (two years) and I came to Japan for various study abroad programs before that. I've been job searching online and found a great fully-remote gig teaching English through eSports (basically teaching while playing a video game online with the students). The company is based in Japan and has been around for 4 years and featured in articles and on TV specials so they certainly aren't sketchy.

I finish my current work contract in August and my Visa (engineer/specialist in humanities/international services) will expire at the end of November. So, I need to ensure my next job will satisfy the requirements needed to renew my visa in November. I just did my interview and they seem willing to provide the necessary documents for visa-renewal but here's where the problem lies: it's a semi-full time position so the annual salary ends up being just under the suggested (required?) 300万 a year (2.5 million).

Is there a route for me to still get my visa renewed if I get the job? Could I supplement the remaining revenue with a part-time job or teaching freelance as long as my new work contract permits it?
