Hi everyone!
I’m planning to stay near Sasazuka station for my trip to Japan for a few weeks as a base location (will be remote working and for leisure).
Wanted to get some feedback about this area as I’m planning to frequent Shimokitazawa, Koenji and Shibuya and shinjuku often during my stay.
Is this a good place to stay? What’s the vibe like? Is there any suggestion on what to do in this neighbourhood?
I’m not sure if it would be better to stay around Shinjuku goyen area instead as it would be walkable to shinjuku and a lot of train stations around.
I’m just worried about having to constantly change train lines from the Keio train line to something else in order to get around! Is it better to be able to be 15 mins walking distance to shinjuku or take a 5 mins train to shinjuku?!
Edit:///
Thanks all for the input. Basically stay along main Yamanote line is what I gathered for ease of traveling around to different places and convenience! I think might going with shimbashi to also accommodate for travels to Asakusa and easier access to and from Narita airport. Hope this location would be a good place to stay. Complete other side direction of Shibuya….but it seemed a bit more convenient than staying in nakameguro which was another alternative location! Let me know if anyone else had any other opinions!!!
