Currency exchange

I actually had a very important question as people told me to exchange my dollars to yen from outside the airport as in the airport for example if:
1 usd –> 141 yen
Outside the airport it could be something like this:
1 usd –> 134 yen
So like this isn't it better to exchange my money from the airport?
