Hi! Does anyone have experience taking luggage on the Oirase JR bus from Aomori or Hachinohe? I think this page says that it is allowed, but do the busses get very busy, and can we get the bags out at stops along the route?
My husband and I will be traveling with 2 x large backpacker-style backpacks. We plan to do
31 Aug – early bus from Aomori to Oirase stream.
Drop bags at hotel.
Hike to Nenokuchi, either the full hike or skip a bit with bus.
Lake boat and bus back to hotel at Oirase stream.
1 Sept – 1st bus from Oirase stream to Hachinohe.
