I beat my first game completely in Japanese! DQ8 on 3ds, i was super proud of it. I mined about 250 words from it, and had to use some google translate help for a few characters “accents”, but im super stoked with how it went! Now im playing Super Mario RPG remake in Japanese and its way easier, I really feel like i’ve accomplished a goal in learning japanese 😀
Started to learn kana yesterday. Read (somewhat successfully) my first picture book on tadoku today! Still having some trouble with dakuten and combinations (for katakana) but I expect rigorous practice to solve much of that.
