Japan Itinerary for 21 Days – Ideas or suggestions welcome!

Hi Guys,

I am planning a trip to Japan and I have exactly 21 days to explore this wonderful country. I already have an itinerary planned, but I am not sure if it's a good one – so maybe some of you can point out some flaws in this plan or give me a nodge into the right direction. 😉

What do you think of this itinerary ? Any musts that I miss here? I'm flexible on my destinations, but thought it's a good mix of city, landscape and enjoying not only the huge cities but also the landscape and mountains.

I want to see as much of the japans beautiful landscapes as possible and want to slow myself down and not rush things. I wouldn't mind to stay in a very rural area. I just want peace and good food! 🙂

Happy to read all your suggestions!
