imasu vs arimasu.

Hi there, I am aware of the differences between arimasu and imasu, but in the case that I want to, for example, say that there are 3 people and a table in the center of a room, since I am listing both people and objects would I use imasu or arimasu? Would it depend on whatever is mentioned last?

  1. You could break up the sentence.

    Or you can use て-form.
