Hello,
gonna be an exchange student at Sophia University starting September. Still looking for a room in a shared house but have some trouble finding the right thing. It feels like no matter which area I choose, I feel like there might be something "better" – there just is too much to choose from and it makes this quite hard for me lol
My thought is that I would like to be in an area that has good access to major stations but also some sort of nightlife / bars / late night activities when the public transport isn't running. Is there any area I should be specifically looking for that would check all these boxes?
My eyes are currently on the OAKHOUSE Shinjuku City View – room looks ok and it's in Nishi-Shinjuku. https://www.oakhouse.jp/eng/house/384
I stayed in that area for a few days on my first trip last summer (APA Gochome-Eki) , seems like a more quiet part of shinjuku within walking distance to the station where i believe most of the action is.
Would appreciate any input or any tips – probably overthinking the whole thing 🙂
