My friend is a chef so we went to his restaurant for lunch and got a little carried away.
Courses:
- Amberjack w/ Yuzu Jelly and Snapper Wrapped in Shiso
- Lean Tuna and Fresh Octopus. The tentacles were served in a shoyu sauce with spicy daikon. The cone was pounded and then sprinkled with rock salt.
- Miso Marinated White Sea Bass in Tempura with Nori, Green Onion, and Sesame Seed. Served with pickled ginger, lemon, and shiso.
- Snow Crab Soup with White Sea Bass.
Whole Deep Fried Soft Shell Crab w/ Deep Fried Shiso Leaf and Sauce.
Tako Wasabi
Nigiri:
- Kombu Marinared Halibut Cheek
- Ebi Sweet Shrimp
- Shrimp Head served in Flaming Sake
- Hokaido Uni
- Chu-Toro
- O-Toro

We split a bottle of Sake and some beers.
