Hokkaido & Tohoku

Hey all, I’ve blessed to have been granted time off from work for a 2 week holiday in November. As per the title, this time I’ve set my eyes on the northern parts. What are peoples experiences? I’d love to hear people’s favourite restaurants, experiences, anything etc. This trip is also about my consolidating some Japanese language learning/speaking I’ve been doing for about a year.

Here is the itinerary so far:

Tokyo:Nov 2 – Arrive at Narita Airport (stay night in Tokyo).SapporoNov 3 – Early shinkansen to Sapporo (Tohoku/Hokkaido Shinkansen to Shin-Hakodate and transfer to Hokusai LE to Sapporo. Explore Sapporo – TV Tower & Odori Park. Stay in Susukino.Nov 4 – Sapporo Beer museum, eat Ghengis Khan, scallops etc. Explore the city during eveningNov 5 – Nijo Market, Shiroi Koibito Park, Explore Susukino Entertainment district.Aomori:Nov 6 – Travel to Aomori – Nebuta Museum Wa Rasse: Dedicated to the famous Nebuta Matsuri festival, showcasing floats and providing insight into the festival's history. Apple Products: Aomori is famous for its apples. Nov 7 – A-FactorySendai:Nov 8 – Sendai – Castle ruins (Zunda Milkshake), Daikannon statue, Ensuin Gardens & Temple, Nov 9 – Matsushima (Matsushima Bay – Ferry to explore the 200+ islands) Shiogama (tuna sushi).Nov 10 – Gyutan Restaurant – Rikyu Sunmall Ichibanchos, Zenjirou, Aji Tasuke Honten

Kobe:
November 11 – Kobe Nankinmachi (China Town), Motomachi Shopping Street (go back in the evening), Kobe Beef (Kobe Beef Kisshokichi in Nankinmachi – Sannonmiya
November 12 – Nada Sake District Hakutsuru Sake Brewery Museum or Kobe Shu-Shin-Kan Breweries for sake tasting. Sorakuen garden.
November 13 – Kobe City Museum, Mount Rokko.
