Hello. I haven't been able to verify the answer to this question and want to be certain before going too far down this road.
I am an American citizen married to a Chinese (PRC) citizen with US permanent residence. If I obtain a work or other long-term visa/residence in Japan, will there be any problem with my spouse obtaining a dependent visa due to our different nationalities?
I have read the basic rules for dependent visas and we should fulfill those. We just haven't seen any information about whether our different nationalities will cause a problem. We have experienced that it does in some other countries.
