We were originally planning on leaving for aug this year but after realizing my son can’t handle humidity we decided to push it to late may early june next year. My kids will be 5 and 8 when we leave. We arrive Narita around 4pm and will be staying around Tokyo station. I’m not sure if our schedule is too light, I don’t know how much walking my kids can handle. Would love ideas on specific places to visit and restaurants to try.

My wife and I would like to squeeze a dinner at a nice restaurant, so I was thinking of staying at a hotel in Kyoto that has a Michelin resturant in the same building. Maybe the kids will be tired and just sleep while we eat dinner or just watch a movie in the room. If ever I was thinking of going back to the room like every 30 minutes to check on them. What are your guys thoughts on this?
