I’m a frequent flier but only with family and I’m booking plane tickets for myself for the first time. My girlfriend of two years is doing a semester abroad in Kumamoto and I’m flying United Airlines from Dulles to Haneda to Kumamoto. The trip is planned for December 30 and the only layover options are 2 hours or 12 hours. Is 2 hours enough time to get through customs and to my gate for a non-Japanese speaker.
