Me and my boyfriend arrived in Tokyo on wednesday, and today (saturday) before going to Kyoto we realized we don’t have our passports. We very likely lost them on the same day we arrived.
We arrived at Narita Airport and been to 3 metro stations that day, 1-2 convenience stores, the “Welcome Suica” thing on the airport and a restaurant (already tried there).
I went to the police station and filled a report, and we will go to the consulate on monday, but in the meantime… I know Japan has a good success rate on “lost and found”, and I’m still hopeful we can find it.
Is it worth it going to every station we been to? And more than that, if someone turns it in in a different police station than the one I went to, would they communicate?
