Do you find the doctor’s treatment of you to be more “robotic” in Japan?

I have been living in Tokyo for about 10 years, and fortunately had no big health issues so far except the occasional Covid or cold…But it seems to me that for many doctors the few words you say to the nurse is all he (cause it’s mostly men) needs to extrapolate a diagnosis for you. Gods forbid he asked you any additional questions or any questions at all…I am almost happy to be given sth to write down my symptoms in detail because nobody asks me anything. I admit private clinics (not covered by insurance) are only slightly better at this. What is your experience of going to the doctor in Japan?
