Life with a large dog

Hey folks, I'm moving to Shirokanedai soon, and we will bring our dog, a Bernese Mountain

I understand already that life with a large dog in Tokyo is not easy, but any tips would be appreciated. I heard you have to walk the dog around with a water bottle to water where he pees. Is that right?
