Context
- Started company in Jan2024
- Joined Social Insurance in Feb and withdrew from national health insurance
- did not understand about the bankrupting SI amounts for me and for my 1 person company
- received NI refund in March
- took high exec. compensation Jan – May
- restructured – and lowered exec. compensation in June
I own a GK and due to some restructuring, I recently made a change to my exec. compensation amount, for June, which is a significant reduction to what it was Jan-May.
On my payslip the new calculation for my exec. compensation & social insurance contribution is correct.
However, today the GK received a payment notice 領収済通知書 for June, however the amount has not been adjusted down – it is still at the full amount what I paid for May.
Does anyone know when the Social Insurance Premium will be adjusted? I have read it will take 3 months for it to be adjusted? If this is correct, what happens to the 3-month overpayment? Will it be refunded back to the GK? How does this work?
Example:
May exec. compensation was ¥600k / month. my SI contribution: ¥100k, GK: ¥100k
June: exec. compensation reduced to ¥100k. my SI contribution: ¥15k, GK: ??
SI payment notice for June is still for ¥200k, not ¥15k + GK amount (should be about the same)
Assuming, the SI doesn't get adjusted for 3 months, what happens to the ¥510k that I pay in Jun, Jul, Aug.?
I also received a direct debit notice for National health insurance premium for June. This does not seem right since i am still in the GK's SI and withdrew from the NHI back in Feb.
Wondering if any of the community has recommendations of a person or company who I can hire to look after these matters for me.
Thank you
