Does it make sense to land in Kansai International?(Solo traveler)

I did my very first Trip to Japan last October. I stayed in Tokyo and near towns for 12 days and I had a blast.

Now, I'm already planning my next trip for October 2025. yeah it's still almost a year and a half away but I'd rather start sooner. I've already saved enough money for the flight without much issues this way and I'm planning to buy a ticket as soon as it gets avaible in October/November..

I'm planning my trip from October 5th to October 20th (15 full days +two days of travel), since I did the bulk of my trip in Tokyo last year, I wanted to do the full Golden Triangle next time: Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto. I want to start with Osaka this time and doing Tokyo last. However, I see that every plane does a layover to Tokyo. there's no direct flight from Europe to Kansai International for some reason, which is weird since Kansai is supposed to be an international airport. Am I looking at this correctly? should I even bother with that airport or is it better to go to Tokyo, stay two days there at the beginning then move to Osaka directly, then going back to Tokyo for my last 3 days? I'm not used to split my travels like that, but I've already seen Tokyo, I'd go there again mostly to go to Hakone, Yokohama (which I completely missed the first time lol) + visiting Shinjuku again. Which do you think is the best course of action?
