NJPW World: Is web browser for PC and phone different from App?

Hi, I want to subscribe to World, but im having a hard time understanding the difference of web browser and app. If i subscribe in the web browser on PC am I not able to watch on the dedicated app? I have to open up a web browser and type in NJPW World and watch from there?
