Hi everyone, I don't know if this is the right place to ask but I need some advice.
I was an international student from 2017-2018 studying in Japanese language school. I left Japan without closing my bank account (I was with Bank of Kyoto, and I withdrew all the money). I also left without informing the health insurance company that I paid my monthly premium to. I know I should have told them but (bear with me) I had anxiety and was scared of speaking in Japanese.
This all just came to my mind again, and I want to know if this means I have unpaid debt to the insurance company for the past six years. I don't remember the company's name, and I don't remember how I signed up.
I have not been back to Japan but I worry this will affect my future travels.
Any insights would be appreciated. Thank you so much.
