Thoughts on my Kansai road trip itinerary? (November)

Hi everyone, I'm planning my first road trip in the Kansai area and would really appreciate some advice. I've been to Kyoto/Osaka/Kobe/Nara before, but never tried driving around.

After some research, I've put together an itinerary based on places that caught my interest. I'd love to hear your thoughts on it, especially if you've done something similar.

Here's my Google Map with the planned route. The road trip is from Nov 17-22.

Itinerary:

Day 1: Tamba-Sasayama

  • Pick up car near KIX
  • Visit Sasayama Castle ruins and Osamu Tezuka Manga Museum
  • Explore the "samurai residences"
  • Overnight in Tamba-Sasayama

Day 2: Fukuchiyama → Toyooka → Kinosaki Onsen

  • See Fukuchiyama Castle and Goryo Shrine
  • Drive to Toyooka
  • End in Kinosaki Onsen for onsen-hopping
  • Stay the night in Kinosaki

Day 3: Takeno Beach → Kinosaki Onsen

  • Visit Takeno Beach
  • Return to Kinosaki to explore the town and Onsenji temple
  • Possibly take the ropeway to Mt. Daishi if time allows
  • Another night in Kinosaki

Day 4: Amanohashidate → Ine

  • Take a boat ride across Amanohashidate Bay
  • Drive to Ine, maybe do a boat tour of the fishing village
  • Overnight in Amanohashidate

Day 5: Tango Peninsula → Maizuru → Ayabe

  • Explore more of Tango Peninsula (Kotohira Shrine or Tateiwa Rock formations)
  • Visit the red brick warehouses in Maizuru
  • See Ankokuji Temple in Ayabe
  • Stay in Ayabe

Day 6: Miyama → Kyoto

  • Explore Kayabuki no Sato in Miyama
  • Return to Kyoto and drop off the rental car

After this, I'll be staying in Kyoto and Osaka, which I'm more familiar with.

I'd really appreciate any advice, suggestions, or tips you might have. Are there any must-see spots I've missed? Or anything I should reconsider? Thanks in advance for your help!

EDIT:

New questions: I have planned for another 5 days in Kyoto and 4 days in Osaka, but since I've been there, is it worth reduce the day in city and maybe expand my road trip to places like Fukui, Kanazawa? (I actually been to Japan last December as well, and the over tourism are indeed discounting the experience, it was nothing like years ago, and now news said the over tourism just got worse… )
