I swear that it's mere coincedence that my favourite wrestler of the past few years was El Desperado and in 2024 it's El Phantasmo. But El Phantasmo's entire arc during this G1 has been so fucking amazing. I feel like it's been an entire story arc from getting eliminated early due to a brutal fight with Takeshita to APOLOGIZING to Goto for "ruining his G1" after winning his match. Man, I just wanna see this guy win.
