So I’m working at a fancy restaurant that does 5 different courses, started 11 days ago still my first month and obviously I’m doing my absolute best to keep up and follow through and garnish plate everything they tell me to do take notes answer phone calls aince we get order from hotels course. My question is does anyone get yelled at a lot at a food service places a lot I feels like I’m working with Gordon Ramsey when I work with head of all head chef other than that people are nice. It’s just that I can’t tell if I’m doing good or not since even the nice chef keeps telling me I am going to have to do everything by myself in that station soon or is this just the culture of older cooks here. I just want to know if this is normal. pay is good enough I work from 2-11pm
