Getting a mortgage for a property in Japan as a dual citizen living/working abroad?

I'm looking into buying property in Japan and I am a Japanese citizen technically due to my dual citizenship. The problem I am trying to figure is if there will be difficulties in procuring a loan if my income/work history is only in the United States. I am basically a ghost in Japan since I do not have a current address in Japan (although my uncle's residence might be listed on my juminhyo), no Japanese bank account, etc.
For the bank account issue, I saw some people recommending Sony Bank or SBI Shinsei Bank, but I'm not sure if I have other options if I am a citizen.
