I sold my car in the USA the night before my ship date to my new Japanese job here in Japan, so I just took the cash and came to Tokyo. I have the cash physically with me here in Japan entirely in USD and I am looking to get it into yen the best way possible (meaning the most amount in my pocket at the end of it all.)
My only thing I thought of is sending it back with a friend and having them deposit to my bank account there, but not too sure I trust anybody with this much cash. Any help or tips would be greatly appreciated.
