Hi, I’m a dutch MBO (college) student of Computer Science/Software Development.
In my 3th year (2025/2026) I need to have a internship with a company for 9 months. My school encourages us to do this internship abroad so I figured I might be able to have mine in Japan. However I don’t really know how viable of an option this is.
I have tried looking online but most listings for internships are for shorter periods like 2 weeks or 1 to 2 months. Is it even possible to find an internship for 9 months? And where would I start looking and what do I avoid? Are there companies anyone would recommend looking up?
All help and advice would be appreciated!
(For those wondering finding a internship is my responsibility and my school does not provide support with that exept for last minute internships but I still have a bit more than a year)
