Hi all, I bought two tickets to the Ghibli museum for myself and a friend who is visiting Japan next week. Unfortunately I have to leave the country unexpectedly, so will not be able to attend the museum, but my friend would still like to go. However it seems kind of difficult for him to go without me—it sounds like the group leader needs to show ID at the museum when getting the tickets, you cannot get QR/bar codes for the tickets ahead of time, and you can’t transfer tickets to a different name. That’s my takeaway after a bit of research, anyway.
Anyone have any tips for how my friend might be able to use the tickets to get to the museum, or are we just screwed? Would love any suggestions if you have them! Thanks!
