My SO and I are looking to go to Japan in the spring/late spring for about two weeks. We would love to catch cherry blossoms if possible but are not dependent on that. I know the first week of May will be crazy busy as well as most of April. So I thought the second week of May might be a sweet spot for heading there. Has anyone traveled in this time frame? Does golden week typically end on that first Sunday of May? Any tips/advice is gladly welcomed!
