Which one will you choose if you were in my shoes….

Kinda similar to a previous post but with a slight twist. I'm currently considering 2 offers here by Wednesday.

Disclaimer: no intention to flex, if it makes you think so, I apologise.

Background: I will be marrying to a Japanese in about a years' time and we both want 1-2 kids. Both of us are in mid-30s and fiancé is earning about 8m pre-tax. We both live in Kanagawa currently.

We both have savings in NISA, stocks and crypto with enough liquid cash to make a downpayment for a relatively ok house if needed.

We are both savers and do not own any branded goods; usually only spend bigger on holidays.

Company A: 3 days office (Semi con industry) – D2D about an hour
8.5m (40hous OT included) + 700k variable bonus (Non-Managerial)

Seems good, culture wise with lots of company activities, events, trips, gifts, etc. Direct manager based in Taiwan and overall seems like a good dude.

Job scope seems to align to what I have been doing and company is also rapidly expanding. Listed company.

Company B: Full remote, might change in 5-10 years time if IPO? (Fintech industry)
10m + variable bonus 8-10% (Finance Managerial position)
Boss is based in India and I will handle the whole Japan entity, with no subordinates for now.
Currently very small in JP but rapidly expanding, pre-IPO.

Job scope has been what I'm doing plus responsibilities that I have no experience in. Worried I may not be able to handle those with no prior experience (made clear in interview) but I do not mind the challenge.

What I'm worried is since it is pre-IPO, any streamlining of company in the future or unable to handle the tasks can get me let off easily.

Which one will you choose?

Edit: Thank you everyone for the honest feedback! I spoke with Company A's hiring manager and I have decided to go for Company A. The slight increase in salary does not beat stability and I am happy that the manager is flexible and values family over work himself.

Seems like even though I have to go to the office 3 times a week, I have the flexibility to leave early for family commitments and would not need to apply PTO for those. It all base on trust and ability to finish my work for the day.
