Hello! This is my first full summer living in Japan. I know that mold is a problem here and it looks like it finally caught up to me. For reference I run my AC 24/7, run my dehumidifier once a day for at least 30 mins, and air my apartment out when it isn’t super humid outside.
On one specific wall I’ve noticed a few mold spots. Nothing too bad, just a few spot about the size of a golf ball and perfectly straight lines of yellowish mold. This is the only wall in my apartment where I’m having the issue. When I moved in I noticed a few tears on the wall paper and this wall also happens to be next to the buildings elevator.
I tried a 1 part bleach 3 parts warm water spray with scrubbing and wiping and haven’t seem to have made any progress. My realtor basically told me that it’s my problem. Any idea on what I can do to fix the problem/prevent further growth?
