I have recently changed visa status from student visa, one month ago, for a specialist in humanities visa and work at an international school. But I am hoping to change to a SSW visa as soon as possible, in 1-3 months. I was wondering if I could continue working my current job while waiting for my visa to process. And would immigration not like the fact that I am changing visa categories so soon.
My main concern is that my SSW visa doesn’t get approved and then I lose both visas. Or hopefully if my SSW isn’t approved can I continue living in Japan under my Humanities Visa? I dont want to have to leave japan!
