How do I use ようこそ?

I’ve seen two versions and I am unsure which is correct or if there is a context difference.

For example:

日本へようこそ。 Nihon e youkoso

VS

ようこそ日本へ。 Youkoso nihon e

Is there a difference?

  1. I think so long as the へ follows the location it doesn’t matter; they are both correct.

disclaimer: i’ve lived in japan and seen both, but i definitely don’t understand most nuances of the language. i wouldn’t be able to tell you if theres a context difference :p
