It wasn’t mentioned in their press release, but UCW and PWA are now listed as sponsors in all of the graphics for the first two Tamashii shows, alongside the Fale Dojo and Monstavision (who appear to specialise in LED screens).
I’m not familiar with UCW, but PWA is one of Australia’s biggest promotions (arguably *the* biggest) – I’ve seen some refer to them, alongside Perth’s EPW and Melbourne’s MCW, as being Australia’s ‘big three’, but of those three PWA are the only ones that occasionally tour and run shows outside of their home state. It’s also Robbie Eagles’ and Aussie Open’s home promotion, too, so it’s really cool to see NJPW link up with them.
Also, the seated tickets for the Sydney show have sold out within 2 hours of them going on sale, and the standing tickets are reportedly going fast too. Good signs for Tamashii!
Bought my ticket to the Sydney show. Can’t wait! It’ll be the first live wrestling show I’ve attended since Liger’s retirement show.
I got front row at 10:01am. Surprised to see how fast everything went!
