Hey everyone! I'm planning a day trip from Kanezawa to do the Alpine route, with plans to return to Kanezawa at night. While doing the web booking, I noticed they have a round trip option from Dentetsu Toyama to Kurobeko, which sounds perfect as I don't need to go all the way to Ogizawa.
However, when looking at the time tables (specifically https://www.alpen-route.com/_wp/wp-content/uploads/2024/04/2024-timetable-t-complete.pdf ), it seems that they only list times for arriving at Kurobeko via cable car from Kurodebaira, and do not list cable car times going from Kurobeko back to Kurodebaira.
- So my questions would be: Does this round trip ticket actually cover going all the way to Kurobeko with the cable car? And would I just use the Nagano timetable ( https://www.alpen-route.com/_wp/wp-content/uploads/2024/04/2024-timetable-o-complete.pdf ) to figure out timings on the way back?
- The web reservation says I need to reserve a specific time for the Tateyama cable car, but only gives me an option for the departure trip on the way to Kurobeko. On the way back, do I just hop on whenever I'm ready to go/it's available?
This is going to be my first solo trip to Japan and first time I'm taking something besides taxis/trains for transportation, so apologies if these are obvious questions to answer but I am a little nervous about the whole thing. Thank you!
